Octogenarian Great British Bake Off presenter Mary Berry has beaten the likes of Emma Stone, Cara Delevingne and Jennifer Lopez in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World countdown.
Voted for entirely by FHM readers, the 80-year-old baking legend made a surprise appearance in 73rd place in the annual countdown
Mary came just one place ahead of Angelina Jolie and five places behind Cheryl Fernandez-Versini who nose-dived 55 places to 68th this year.
Other celebs who were trumped by Mary include Nicki Minaj (78), Christina Hendricks (82), Demi Lovato (84), Georgia Salpa (85), Emily Blunt (90) and Jessie J (99).
This year’s list was topped by 27-year-old model and former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan who climbed one spot from 2014 to take the title.
“Many congratulations to Michelle on her very worthy win,” FHM editor Joe Barnes commented. “This year’s 100 Sexiest poll was more keenly contested than ever – we had over a million votes, which was truly incredible. And for me, and the FHM team, it's great to see a hugely talented UK actress take the top spot."
In second place is reality star Kendall Jenner who has climbed an incredible 29 places, while last year’s winner Jennifer Lawrence is at three.
Also in the Top 10 is model Kate Upton is up 14 places to fourth and TV presenter and Strictly champion Caroline Flack has re-entered the countdown at number five.
Other big names in the Sexiest poll include Margot Robbie (7), Lucy Mecklenburgh (8), Natalie Dormer (16) Susanna Reid (21), Katy Perry (25) and Holly Willoughby (35).
