MAFS UK's Adam and Tayah are getting married for real this Christmas
Lovely news!
Despite the UK series of Married At First Sight serving us up some serious drama over the years, it's safe to say not many couples who were put together in the experiment actually work out in the real world.
However, one couple who have defied the odds and lived happily-ever-after is series six stars Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling!
As well as welcoming their beautiful baby girl Beau into the world in October 2022, the couple got engaged during the final vow ceremony on MAFS in 2021, with Adam popping the question for real.
Now, two years on from their commitment to each other on the show, Adam and Tayah have revealed they are getting married for real this Christmas!
Speaking during a chat with OK! Magazine, Adam confessed: "I'm really excited about it, it's going to be a magical day, a Christmas wedding and everyone will dressed up in black tie."
Tayah then added: "This wedding will be a lot more special, we could only have six people at our MAFS wedding so I'm looking forward to having all of our friends and family in the same room celebrating such a magical day and actually making it legal.
"We did want to get married at the same venue as before but we thought when it's in the UK you can never predict the weather.
"Where we are getting married it's all enclosed, all in the same building so no one needs to arrange any travel or go outside in the cold, that's what we loved about the venue. The MAFS wedding was outside, which was beautiful, but if we went down that path again if it was a rainy day it would have ruined the ceremony."
The happy couple also discussed intimate details about the upcoming ceremony, revealing their venue is a big old stately home, with beautiful log fires.
Despite Adam and Tayah being the only couple to survive the 2021 experiment, it appears they have remained friends with some of their co-stars, with Tayah revealing a number of the cast will be in attendance at their wedding.
She told the publication: "We've got 80 guests for our wedding and few of the cast members are coming to the evening of our wedding including Maz, Franky, Bob, Amy and Megan.
"Alexis was going to come but unfortunately can't because I think she's coming back from holiday.
"It'll be special to be together again, at a wedding."
Check out all of the MAFS UK 2021 couples below:
Adam and Tayah - ENGAGED
Adam and Tayah proved love at first sight most definitely IS a thing! These two immediately hit it off on their wedding day, with the pair even saying the L word on their honeymoon.
After zero issues throughout the process, viewers were over the moon when Adam proposed to Tayah for real during their final vow renewal.
Since the final episode, Adam and Tayah have been very loved-up on socials, and the couple welcomed their first child together in October 2022, a baby girl called Beau Emily Aveling.
Daniel and Matt - SPLIT
Despite seemingly falling for each other very quickly, Daniel and Matt had their struggles due to Matt living in Leeds and Daniel being from Northern Ireland. The pair remained together during the final vow renewal, and appeared seriously loved-up on social media, even looking to move in together in 2022.
Sadly, Matt and Dan took to their socials in December 2022 to reveal that they had split, admitting that they were better as friends, and that the split was amicable.
Luke and Morag - SPLIT
It's safe to say Luke and Morag didn't get off to the best start during the MAFS process. After Morag confessed she didn't find her husband attractive, the couple struggled with intimacy.
However, by the end of the process, Luke and Morag had seemingly found a spark, with the pair choosing to stay together during the final vow renewal.
Despite this, the pair confirmed during the reunion show they'd split up, with Morag admitting Luke hadn't phoned her since the process ended. However, Luke later said it was because Morag still didn't care for him.
Marilyse and Franky - SPLIT
These two shocked viewers during the final vow renewal when they revealed their true feelings for each other, with Franky even admitting he was ready to move back to the UK from Dubai.
Franky later gushed about his girl on social media, admitting he'd moved to the same town as Marilyse and met her children.
However, on Friday 8th October, the pair both released statements confirmed they'd split. They remain good friends.
Josh and Amy - SPLIT
There's no denying the fact that Josh and Amy had a whirlwind experience during the MAFS experiment. After the pair had initial doubts over their age-gap, the couple experienced a number of fiery arguments and disagreements.
However, by the end of the process the pair seemed closer than ever, with Josh opening up about his feelings towards Amy during the final vow renewal.
The pair have been pretty quiet on social media since the final and during the reunion show they confirmed they are no longer together.
As Married At First Sight fans will know, Adam and Tayah had a pretty undramatic journey during the sixth series in 2021.
The pair immediately hit it off on their wedding day, with things also going well on their honeymoon. After moving in together and going through the different parts of the experiment, Adam and Tayah made it to the final vow ceremony, where Adam proposed for real!
We can't wait to see the wedding photos! ❤️
