Lucky students get a visit from Ed Sheeran

He really does pop up everywhere!

Students at Surrey University were in for an almighty surprise at the weekend when the one and only Ed Sheeran showed up at their house.

Ed, who used to live in the house as a student himself, surprised the lucky housemates when he popped round for a cuppa.

The shocked students sent their epic selfie with Ed to the ‘Spotted In Surrey’ Facebook page. The page captioned the shot with, ‘Possibly the luckiest students ever!!! Ed Sheeran has turned up at their house for a cup of tea as he used to live there as a student’.

And who can forget the ample amounts of times he’s helped mates out with proposals. Kodaline’s Jamie and Rixton’s Jake Roche to name a few…

He also helped out his friend, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid out when the pair joined forces to perform at Johnny’s sister’s wedding in Northern Ireland. Ed and Johnny took to the stage for the bride and groom’s first dance and performed a stunning rendition of Snow Patrol’s hit song ‘Chasing Cars’.

He really is the kindest man in pop isn’t he?!
