Louis Tomlinson is charging Doncaster Rovers fans £250 for a selfie with him.

Last Thursday (19th June) news broke that the One Direction singer is fulfilling a boyhood dream by taking over the League One side alongside businessman John Ryan.

The pair, who set up The Tomlinson Ryan Trust, invested a six-figure sum into the club and are now hoping to attract £2million from fans via a crowdfunding project.

As listed on the trust’s official crowdfunder page, fans can pledge anything from £5 to £12,000 and get special rewards in return.

£5 gets you a thank you video from John Ryan direct to your inbox – or if your budget allows, you can get a Louis Tomlinson thank you video for a tenner.

For £250 you get a selfie with Louis alongside tickets to a Doncaster Rovers match or for £500 you’re rewarded with a picture with the entire team as well.

For the more affluent, pledge £10,000 and you can take part in a five-a-side tournament with Louis at the Keepmoat Stadium. Or, stump up £12,000 and you and 11 friends could sit in a VIP private box with Louis.

At the time of writing, a total of £555,121 has been raised from the £2million target. The project will only be funded if at least £2million is pledged by 2:46pm on Thursday 17th July.

If they reach the target, Louis and John will invest the money into the club as they push for promotion to the Championship.

Louis said last week: "For me, this is all about the football, the community and restoring the excitement and desire to making Doncaster Rovers the most exciting club to play for in Yorkshire.

"I grew up in Doncaster and have felt the love for football run through the town, it's for that reason that I have a real personal passion to make Doncaster Rovers a success story. I want to see the Doncaster Rovers' supporters get the club the success it deserves."

Louis played for Doncaster’s reserve side against Rotherham in April. The game attracted 4,000 fans dwarfing the usual reserves attendances of 100.
