Little Mix Hit Out At 'Horrible' Cyberbullying

Jesy Nelson says she’s learnt to deal with the online abuse

Little Mix have hit out at the “horrible” cyberbullying aimed at them.

Since triumphing on The X Factor in 2011, the girls say they’ve been targeted by bullies on social networking sites with Jesy in particular getting countless venomous Tweets.

Speaking to Entertainment NOW!, Jesy reckons pop acts of the past didn’t have to deal with the constant negative comments.

“Back in the day, like when The Spice Girls were around, they would never have been able to have seen that stuff – because Twitter and that wasn’t around,” Jesy told us.

“As much as we love Twitter I feel like (cyberbullying) isn’t spoken about enough like how people comment and say nasty things and get away with it. It’s bullying. It’s horrible.”

However, despite the vicious comments Jesy says she has now learnt to cope with the insults and sees the bullies as “saddos”. Hear her comments right here:

Little Mix’s current single ‘Salute’ is available to download right now.

The girls wrapped up the UK & Ireland leg of their Salute Tour in Belfast last night and head to North America for a string of shows this September and October.
