Since they shot to fame on The X Factor back in 2011, Little Mix girls Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson have been the definition of female empowerment, inspiring their fans across the world.

After fans called for Jesy's 'Odd One Out' documentary to be shown to children in schools, Leigh-Anne has now shared an inspirational post about growing old.

Taking some time out from their 'LM5 Tour', Leigh-Anne shared a cute little boomerang of herself on Instagram, admitting he's embracing 'growing older'.

She wrote, 'Growing older doesn’t scare me anymore, I have never felt so head strong, so self-assured... I feel like I can do and achieve anything if I just keep working hard for it! 🖤.'

Fans were quick to comment on the 'Shout Out To My Ex' singer's post, with many calling her 'inspirational'.

One fan added, 'You’re such a big inspiration 😭💕', with another writing, 'INSPIRATION!😍'. A third then added, 'Beautiful, the confidence is oozing off of this. I love it and I love you ❤️'. sic

The post comes just days after Leigh-Anne celebrated her 28th birthday, with her Little Mix girls and her boyfriend Andre Gray posting cute messages. Sharing a rather raunchy snap of the pair sat on a motorbike, Watford footballer Andre wrote, 'Happy birthday mi amor, keep being you in this old age lol🖤'. sic
