Fans are convinced they know what Kylie Jenner has named her baby

Even though we’ve been convinced about Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy for the best part of six months, we were still shook when the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenners announced she’d given birth yesterday (4th February).

Taking to Instagram, Kylie told her followers she and Travis Scott had welcomed a baby daughter into the world on 1st February. She wrote, 'I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.'

She continued, 'Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and like changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding.

She also shared an adorable video documenting her pregnancy and giving us the first glimpse of the little baby.

And of course her celebrity siblings have been quick to congratulate her publicly, including big sister Khloe, who is expecting a baby of her own next month.

Following the shock announcement it didn't take long for fans to get busy guessing the name Kylie and Travis have chosen for their daughter.

After some extensive research fans have come up with the idea that Kylie has decided to name her first-born Butterfly (a theory that actually popped up several months ago).

Or something along those lines.

There was no shortage of butterfly references in the announcement video, with camera shots panning to a wall decorated with butterfly ornaments and a close up of Kylie’s butterfly necklace.

Kylie also hinted at the gender of her then rumoured baby back in November, when she posted a snap of pink butterfly jewellery.

And perhaps most telling of all are Kylie and Travis’ matching butterfly tattoos – suggesting the name has a deep meaning for the pair.

Here’s hoping we’re not waiting another six months for the big reveal!

In other Kylie Jenner baby news, Khloe Kardashian shared a super cute picture of her and Kylie showing off their bumps.

Khloe, who is due in March, wrote alongside the pic, 'Congratulations My Sweet Kylie! What a magical ride it's been! I'll miss you bumping along with me. Never in a million years did I think we would do this together but it's been that much more special because of it. God is so great!! He had His plan all along! I love you little mama 💕 love big mama.'
