Kim Kardashian hits back at critics over her son Saint's hospital stay
He suffered from Pneumonia
Earlier this week it was reported that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's two-year-old son Saint West was rushed to hospital after suffering from Pneumonia, and despite the little one now recovering well at home, Kim and Kanye have received a ton of online abuse.
Certain media outlets reported that the glamorous couple had been out 'partying' on New Year's Eve instead of looking after their son, and now a furious Kim has hit back at the reports.
Taking to her Twitter account, Kim told her 58 million followers that Saint was in hospital between Wednesday and Saturday, and the family enjoyed a night in on New Year's Eve when he was asleep for the night.
She wrote, 'I haven't heard this BUT lets get this straight. I did not leave my son for one minute during his hospital stay. We were there Wednesday night to Saturday. NYE WAS SUNDAY NIGHT. People came over when he was already asleep for the night! Don't even try me when it comes to my kids'. sic
Kim confirmed Saint's hospital stay earlier in the week when she posted a lengthy message documenting the scary moment to her Instagram account. Sharing a photo of herself cradling Saint, Kim wrote, 'My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary. I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock. We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint 👼🏽' sic
The Kardashian-West's enjoyed their final Christmas and New Year together as a family of four, with the couple about to extend their little family.
Kim confirmed back in 2017 that the couple are expecting their third child via a surrogate, with the new arrival expected in early 2018.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star opted to use a surrogate for her third child, after already giving birth to four-year-old daughter North West and two-year-old son Saint West.
