Kelly Rowland has shut down rumours of a Destiny's Child reunion, just days after it was reported they were set to embark on a 'world tour' and 'release new music'.

Speaking about the rumours to ET, Kelly revealed there hasn't been any discussions about a reunion with Beyoncé or Michelle Williams.

When questioned about the report, the 38-year-old said, "That was news to me, just as much as it was to you! I was like, "Oh! My god, a tour is happening! Someone call me!"'

She went on to say, "Everybody's supportive of each other's personal ventures right now. If it were to happen, I would want it to be a surprise. I feel like we know so much now."

Whilst fans may be disappointed with Kelly's latest admission, they were treated back in 2013 at Queen B's Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, where the trio reunited, sending fans into a frenzy.

They also took to the stage for another time at Beyoncé's 2018 Coachella set, where she headlined the international festival.

However, Beyoncé's dad has added fuel to the fire, by suggesting a reunion may be on its way within the next THREE YEARS!

Speaking to The Metro, Matthew Knowles said, "I certainly hope they do. It would be wonderful, wouldn't it? But you know, things that like requires years of preparation and timing. Most people don't know how touring works and how the industry works.

"It takes years to put together a tour, get the band together, get the dancers, then decided which size venues you're going to have, start rehearsals, and it would probably be a world tour... it would two to three years, even if the answer was yes today".
