Katie Price has had a turbulent year but things have taken an even more surprising turn as its been reported that she's sent her ex Gareth Gates flirty messages. If you cast your mind back to the early noughties, you may remember that Katie (who was pregnant at the time with Harvey Price) had a fling with Gareth and she took his virginity when he was 17.
Fast forward 16 years and according to Metro.co.uk, the mum-of-five has got back in contact with her former flame after he split from Coronation Street star Faye Brookes.
According to the publication, an insider revealed that Katie had gotten back in contact with Gareth. Apparently, she read that he's single again after splitting from Coronation Street star Faye Brookes and reportedly "wanted to say hi and see how he was after the split."
They added, "She loves to message exes after a few drinks, so just before she went back into rehab she sent him a few late night messages after getting his number from a mutual friend.
"She just wants to catch up with him but she was also being a bit cheeky and flirty too."

They shaved the bone – they didn't break my nose. In fact, I liked my nose before and now. If I had a cupboard with both noses, I'd alternate between them!"
At 30, Katie was still young but already a fan of fillers.
"I get my forehead and around my eyes Botoxed every six months and I love it. You can't beat it," she said.
She's not been shy about the work she's had done on her teeth, either.
"I didn't do it for cosmetics, I fell off a skateboard and cracked my teeth when I was younger," she admitted.
"They were so expensive. When I was in the US, I watched Extreme Makeover and went to see the dentist on there – $150,000 my bloody teeth cost me."
She was also one of the pioneers of lip fillers, sporting the plumped up pout that's so very mainstream these days.

Katie and Gareth's fling caused a bit of a stir when it came to light because the Pop Idol star originally denied it, however years later he admitted why, saying, "I denied the whole Jordan thing because I was 17, I didn’t want my family to find out about my sex life.
"If I hadn’t have lied it would have been a big deal, my family, friends and fans wouldn’t have felt as let down I guess."
