Katie Hopkins has upset some people after making a negative comment about Jaxon Buell, the little boy who has an extreme malformation of the brain, by claiming his parents shouldn't have had him.

Jaxon Emmett Buell was born with most of his brain and skull missing and was not expected to live but he has defied all odds and celebrated his first birthday. His parents Brandon and Brittany Buell refused to abort him and have received support online.

The TV pundit, column writer and ex Celebrity Big Brother contestant tweeted: "Plain wrong. If your baby has half a head, you don't have it."

Twitter users were outraged and since posting Hopkins has received a number of abusive comments, which she has been retweeting.

Since being thrust into the limelight as a contestant on The Apprentice in 2007 she has outraged the public with a number of controversial comments from obesity, to what children she'd let her own socialise with.

In August she angered Lord Alan Sugar who told her to "shut up" after her comments slamming tributes to Cilla Black after her death:

He then replied with "Enough with the controversy, you need to know where to draw the line."
