LA officials said there was insufficient evidence

Justin Bieber has been cleared of any wrongdoing after being accused of attempted robbery.

The Canadian singer was accused of taking a woman’s phone from her after she allegedly took photos of him at a San Fernando Valley amusement park in May.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office yesterday rejected the allegations citing insufficient evidence to charge the singer.

The district attorney's report also stated the woman said she was involved with a verbal altercation with Bieber and her daughter was crying – however, in a police interview she said she was crying out of excitement.

Despite being cleared in this case, Bieber is due to stand trial in Miami next month after being charged with DUI (driving under the influence), driving with an expired licence and resisting arrest in January.

He’s was also charged with assaulting a Toronto limousine driver back in December and could also face charges for allegedly throwing eggs at a neighbour’s property.
