Justin Bieber has sensationally told fans he will not take a picture with them if they spot him out and about.

In an epic rant which he posted out to his 67.5 million Instagram followers, the 'Sorry' singer admitted he felt like a zoo animal and not a human.

The 22-year-old said "If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I'm not gonna take a picture I'm done taking pictures.

"It has gotten to the point that people won't even say hi to me or recognise me as a human. I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity.

"I realise people will be disappointed but I don't owe anybody a picture and people who say '"but I bought your album" know that you got my album and you got what you paid for AN ALBUM! It doesn't say in the fine print you also get a photo. Justin Bieber.”

Fans of pop heartthrob were quick to comment on the post showing their disappointment at their idol's message.

One user wrote 'This is what you signed up for' whilst another said 'Your fans are the reason you are as successful as you are. The least you could do is take pictures with them!'

However, some fans seemed to understand Bieber's decision and comment support for the singer.

One fan wrote 'I understand how you feel. We love you and we will always do because we care for you'. Another said ' It's ok, we still love you!'

The 22-year-old sparked concern at the weekend when he refused to talk to fans in New York. In a fan video, an object can be seen being thrown into the car window with a miserable looking Justin saying 'Why did you throw that' before closing his window and driving off.

This isn't the first time Bieber has disappointed his fans. Back in March he cancelled all meet and greets on his Purpose World Tour claiming he felt 'drained and unhappy'.

Instead, despite fans having paid nearly $2000 for a ticket, they were greeted with a cardboard cut-out of their idol.

Justin is currently touring the US on his world tour and is expected to arrive in the UK in October.

Don't expect any selfies though!
