Jeremy McConnell returns to Liverpool to face questions of alleged assault

Jeremy McConnell has reportedly returned to Liverpool to face allegations of assault that is said to have taken place on Thursday 9th March 2017.

The complaint was filed on Sunday 12th March 2017 and Merseyside police have released a statement which reads, 'A 27-year-old man from Liverpool city centre has been arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage after voluntarily attending a police station on Merseyside. He remains in police custody for questioning.'

It's being reported that the alledged assault involved Stephanie Davis, Jeremy's ex partner and the mother of his two-month-old son Caben-Albi.

Jeremy had recently met his son for the first time and had been sharing pictures on his social media accounts, including this one which was posted on the 4th of March.

Neither Stephanie or Jerermy have released a statement at this time.
