James Corden: 'Keira Knightley Is Like The White Janet Jackson'

James Corden has praised the singing talents of Keira Knightley saying she’s “like the white Janet Jackson.”

James stars alongside Keira and Mark Ruffalo in the musical romantic comedy Begin Again and had nothing but good things to say about Keira’s voice.

Asked if Keira would make a good pop singer, James said: “Big time yeah! I think this is it; I think she’s probably going to stop acting now to be a pop star.

“She’s like the white Janet Jackson – that’s what everyone’s saying anyway. I think she’s going to announce some tour dates soon!”

We asked Keira if this is a new chapter in her life now and she’s primed to release an album – however, unfortunately she ended the speculation there.

“No,” she laughed. “Actually this movie is coming out as an album isn’t it?! So there you go. I’ve got an album. Done, tick!”

James also told us how impressed he was with Adam Levine’s singing voice and Keira spoke about her husband’s (Klaxons star James Righton) reaction and the “challenges” of starring in a musical.
