James Arthur Slams ‘Mediocre’ Glastonbury Acts

His lesson on how NOT to use Twitter continues

James Arthur’s social media implosion continued in style over the weekend when he attacked Glastonbury for putting on “mediocre” live acts.

Watching the Worth Farm spectacular from his sofa, James took to Twitter to voice his dismay at not performing at the festival.

He wrote:

Clearly disgruntled, James added: "Especially sad when you see how mediocre some of these acts are live!! #verybitter". Unsurprisingly, the comment was swiftly deleted.

Last week, James shared a selfie on Twitter depicted the wounds he received in a bar brawl in Poland. He wrote: “Polish bar brawls are the best.”

The fight was the latest in a string of controversies for James since triumphing on The X Factor in 2012.

Back in November 2013, a diss track aimed at an unknown MC called Micky Worthless was widely criticised for containing homophobic lyrics.

After becoming embroiled in a very public Twitter row with comedians Frankie Boyle and Matt Lucas over the song, James apologised and his management took over his Twitter account for several weeks.

Earlier this year he slammed his promotional team calling them “embarrassing” and labelled X Factor stars as “karaoke singers.”

After months of speculation, James finally admitted he had been parted company with Syco earlier this month.
