Dancing On Ice winner Jake Quickenden has shared a tear-jerking picture of his late dad and brother on Instagram.

The former star of The X Factor lost his father and younger brother to bone cancer within four years of each other. Posting the photo to his Instagram page, Jake captioned the sweet sunshine filled snap, saying, “❤️ always in my thoughts'. sic

Jake’s father passed away in 2008 and his younger brother Oliver lost his life to the same devastating disease in 2012.

Fans rushed to show their support, with one saying, 'He’ll be a very proud father mate'.

Another said, 'Both your dad and brother would be so majorly proud of you matey, they’ll be looking down absolutely beaming with pride saying “that’s our Jake” sending huge love and cuddles your way, see you soon xx.' sic

A third commented, 'They will be watching over you and beaming with smiles of how proud they are.' sic

Earlier this week, news broke that the singer had split from his fiancée Danielle Fogarty.

The couple, who met through Danielle's dad Carl Fogarty, parted ways seven months after he popped the question.

An insider said that the pair were having "rows" over Jake's new partying lifestyle with fellow Dancing On Ice star Kem Cetinay.

The Daily Mirror are reporting the source to have said, "Things aren’t going to get any easier on that front either, with Jake set to join The Dreamboys strip group. It’s caused a lot of friction and they’ve both decided to take a breather.

"They are now in the UK and are spending time with their families. The wedding is very much off for now."

After appearing on the likes of The X Factor and I'm A Celebrity in the past, Jake skated to victory on the 2018 series of Dancing On Ice earlier this year.
