Jo Parkerson speaks to Helen Mirren about her brand new film 'The Hundred-Foot Journey'.
Based on the novel of the same name, 'The Hundred-Foot Journey' is about Hassan (Manish Dayal) and his family who move from the UK to the south of France with the grand plan of opening a restaurant. The place they choose is just 100 feet from a Michelin starred classical French eatery, owned by Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren).
After an icy reception and the 'war' between the establishments which follows Hassan’s passion and talent for French cuisine begins to enchant Madame Mallory.
Helen Mirren tells us what it was like on set with such amazing food and even though they couldn't eat the 'film food', the caters on set produced the most amazing food and even served wine.
