They tie the knot in style
It’s not a wedding unless you’re dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow!
Game of Thrones superfans Kerry Ford and Darren Prew tied the knot at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire yesterday in a spectacular themed wedding dedicated to their favourite show.
The couple and their guests spent FIFTY HOURS being transformed into their favourite characters by a team of hair and make-up artists, before marrying in the grounds of the castle.
The castle was chosen specifically for its similarity to that of the fictitious King’s Landing in the record-breaking HBO series.
Best man Mike McKeown dressed up as a white walker, father of the bride Terry Ford attended as Hodor and carried grandson Lewis Knight as Bran Stark, while sister of the groom Sam Crump was transformed into Lady Brienne of Tarth.
Other family members played Melisandre The Red Woman, Jon Snow’s lover Ygritte and Khal Drogo plus there were wolves and a white horse at hand.
The wedding was arranged through video on demand service Blinkbox and fortunately nobody was killed off throughout the course of the day.
