Game Of Thrones Star Compares Justin Bieber To King Joffrey
Would Justin take it as a compliment?!
Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner has cheekily compared the villainous character King Joffrey to Justin Bieber.
18-year-old Sophie, who plays Sansa Stark in the HBO series, linked the ever-controversial Biebs to the hated Joffrey Baratheon who abuses and ensnares Sansa and is the sworn enemy of her family.
!Speaking to The Sunday Times, Sophie said: “I was only 13 (when I joined Game of Thrones). I was one of those girls that read magazines twelve times a week, and I was all ‘Ooh, Justin Bieber’ - who is the Joffrey Baratheon of our time.”
Sophie isn’t the first one to point out parallels between Joffrey and Bieber.
A tumblr blog set up in 2013 called joffreybieber features hilarious Photoshops of Bieber’s head superimposed over stills of Joffrey.
The eagerly-awaited fourth series of Game of Thrones premieres at 9pm on Monday 7th April on Sky Atlantic.
The series is based on the second half of A Storm of Swords, the third of the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by writer George R. R. Martin.
