According to some credit rating companies what you post on Facebook could affect your credit rating.

In a recent interview with the Financial Times the CEO of Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), an American credit rating agency said, “if you look at how many times a person says ‘wasted’ in their profile, it has some value in predicting whether they’re going to repay their debt.”

While this will not be used as the main method for calculated a person's credit rating, it is apparently being used more regularly for those who don't have an in-depth credit history such as those who haven't borrowed money before.
