Just a few hours before the Manchester Arena pop extravaganza kicked off, Jesy was warming up on stage with Little Mix when Jake entered from the shadows with his good mate Ed Sheeran in tow!
Armed with his guitar, a smiling Ed performed a stunning and highly emotional acoustic rendition of his ‘x’ classic ‘Tenerife Sea’ giving the moment extra poignancy.
Jake, 22, then got down on one knee and popped the big question. A shocked but truly elated Jesy said an emphatic “YES!”
One of the most beautiful engagements you could possibly imagine, the lovely couple then embraced with tears of joy welling up in Jesy’s eyes.
Jesy somehow managed to gather her composure to perform a stunning set with Little Mix in front of thousands of fans at the gargantuan Manchester Arena.
Jesy and Jake have been dating since September 2014 and have been inseparable ever since, regularly sharing cute photos of themselves on Instagram.
