Empire Magazine reveals exclusive Kylo Ren Star Wars image & collector’s edition covers

Exciting news for all you Star Wars fans - Empire Magazine have unleashed a never seen before image of The Force Awakens villain Kylo Ren.
The exclusive shot of the evil character, played by Adam Driver, features in the October issue of Empire Magazine, which includes an in-depth behind the scenes look at 2015’s most fervently awaited movie.
The Star Wars themed editions comes in two collector’s covers – a ‘Villain’ cover featuring Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux and Gwendoline Christie’s Captain Phasma alongside Kylo Ren and a ‘Hero’ cover boasting Daisy Ridley’s Rey, John Boyega’s Finn and Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron.
Providing an essential insight into Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the magazine also features an exclusive interview with Director J.J Abrams and the filmmaking team behind the movie.
“Getting too close to your idols, historically, is never a good thing,” Abrams told Empire. (Star Wars) was so near and dear to my heart that the idea of being involved in it, frankly, felt dangerous. But Kathy (Kennedy, producer) asked if I would meet with her anyway.
“I fully intended to once again say ‘thank you but no thank you.’ But when I heard how she wanted to do this in the most emotional, character-based and authentic way, I found myself leaning forward and, just for a moment, imagining what it would be to direct a Star Wars movie.”
