CSI to be pulled

The long running crime drama series CSI has announced it will be finishing later this year.

Starting in 2000 CSI: Crime Scene Investigation spawned spinoffs, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York and CSI: Cyber which started earlier this year.

CSI: Las Vegas as it is also known, will end on the 27th September with a two hour finale, bringing back some of the original cast members, William Petersen (Gil Grissom) and Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows).

Helgenberber announced on Twitter that she was looking forward to the reunion with the crew.

Ted Danson who plays the current lead role will be moving onto CSI: Cyber to continue playing D.B. Russell alongside Patricia Arquette who plays the lead, Special Agent Avery Ryan.
