Christine Lampard reveals her husband Frank's reaction to their pregnancy news

Christine Lampard and former Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard confirmed the lovely news that they are expecting their first child together later in the year, and now the Northern Irish TV presenter has revealed more details.
Christine appeared on Lorraine for a chat to show host Lorraine Kelly about her pending arrival, admitting she's now five months pregnant. Speaking about the moment she discovered the lovely news, the 39-year-old confessed she took five or six tests until she believed it was happening.
Speaking to Lorraine, Christine also opened up about the moment she told her husband Frank he was going to become a dad again. She said, "He just cannot wait, very excited daddy-to-be. I think because the girls are so into it too, it's a lovely little kind of unit almost. We're all in this together now...We feel very grateful."
Frank already had two daughters, Luna and Isla, whom he shares with his ex-wife Elen Rivas, but the new arrival will be the couple's first child together. Christine and Frank first began dating back in October 2009, then announced their engagement in June 2011 and married on the 20th December 2015.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly about her excitement at becoming a mum, Christine said, "I feel really good. I'm trying to do all the right things, but obviously being completely new to this, as any first time mum will know, there's a whole list of things that I didn't know about. So I'm learning on the job. I wasn't terribly sick in those early stages, which was great. A bit sort of nauseous, but nothing too major. I feel good."
The TV host then added her whole family are over the moon at the news, revealing the new arrival will be a first for many. She said, "We are excited. You get to the stage where you don't think about it, and you think maybe it's just not going to happen, but suddenly when it does and it's involved the entire family obviously. First grandchild for my parents. My sister, as an auntie, is very excited."
And it seems Frank's two daughters are very excited at the thought of having a new arrival in the family. Christine revealed that Luna and Isla are 'beside themselves', but she did add that they both want a little sister! She added, "Frank's daughters they're completely beside themselves, more so than I thought they would be. It does have to be a girl though, apparently, that's the only issue. I can't guarantee that! They're desperate for a little girl."
Christine and Frank first confirmed they were expecting a baby last week, in a sweet photo posted on Instagram.
Former England footballer Frank posted an adorable photo to his 2.9 million Instagram followers that showed him and his wife posing happily alongside his daughters. He captioned the photo, 'We have some exciting news we wanted to share with you. The Lampard family is growing!😀 My gorgeous wife @christinelampard is pregnant and we all couldn’t be happier!!!'. sic
Christine then shared the same photo to her own followers and wrote, 'The Lampard family are expanding!! 👶🏻 I feel SO excited, nervous and grateful! The list of emotions is endless 🤗🤗🤗. #Repost @franklampard with @get_repost'. sic

Frank is a regular pundit on BT Sport and recently landed himself a job reporting for the BBC for their coverage of this year's World Cup. Meanwhile, Christine has featured on hit programmes such as The One Show, Daybreak and This Morning.
The couple's baby is due to arrive later in the year.
