She's kept him out of the spotlight since giving birth to her first child back in March 2016, but in recent months, The Greatest Dancer judge Cheryl has started to open up about her son Bear Grey Payne.

The mum-of-one, who announced her split from One Direction singer Liam Payne in July 2018, shared the FIRST photos of Bear at the end of last year, and now she's told fans about the cute moment he said "mama" for the first time.

Revealing details about the adorable moment, Cheryl revealed her son has been watching her on Simon Cowell's new show The Greatest Dancer, telling Mail Online, "He's been watching. And it was the first time he said, 'Mama!'. He said it to the TV. And he's a natural dancer!"

SO CUTE! ❤️❤️❤️

It comes after the former Girls Aloud singer delighted her fans on New Year's Eve, posting THREE snaps of Bear to her Instagram Story.

As well as remembering Bear's first birthday in March, Cheryl uploaded an adorable snap of her son 'learning to jiggle'.

In between documenting her highlights of 2018, which included her comeback to music and the opening of Cheryl's Trust Centre, Cheryl then delighted fans again by uploading a super cute snap of Bear playing football in the garden.

After dropping her first solo music in four years back in November, Cheryl also made a return to TV, landing herself a job on new BBC show The Greatest Dancer.

Cheryl, who has a lot of dance experience herself, is on the 'coaching' panel alongside Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse and Glee actor Matthew Morrison. After four rounds of auditions, the judges chose three acts to take into the next round on Saturday night's show.

Cheryl decided to pick street dance group Frobacks, contemporary duo Harry and Eleiyah, and contemporary-jive group Dane Bates Collective.
