Former Loose Women presenter Carol McGiffin has admitted she is ‘addicted’ to Botox and is considering a facelift.

The 56-year-old previously declared she wouldn't undergo the procedure, but in a recent interview she seemed to have changed her mind on the situation.

Carol told Bella magazine “I’ve had (Botox) done because I still really want to have a facelift, but I’ll do anything I can to avoid it. I think it’s insane to volunteer for surgery, proper cutting up your face surgery. I just want to try and look my best. I don’t make enough effort. I look like an old tramp.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother star admitted she has already had two sessions and would prefer to have it done little and often. She said “Once you start, you’ve got to keep it up. It’s addictive. I keep thinking, ‘I could just have a little bit more there, a little bit more there, a little bit more there.’ I’ve got to be careful not to go too far. I won’t go too far.”

Last year, Carol announced she had breast cancer and had undergone a mastectomy following her diagnosis. She went through 15 rounds of radiotherapy and six doses of chemotherapy and is now clear from the disease.

Carol is now set to undergo reconstructive surgery after having her left breast removed in 2014. The TV personality spoke about the surgery in the interview saying “I wasn’t going to but it’s odd… when I had the mastectomy in 2014, it didn’t bother me at all.”

She added “The longer I have to look at it, the more it bothers me. I thought, ‘What shall I have done? Boobs or face?’ and I’ve decided to have my breasts done.

Carol quit the popular chat show back in 2013 after almost a decade on the show.
