Bridget is back! See the first picture from the new film

The first official photo has been shared from the hotly anitcipated film Bridget Jones Baby.

In the photo Renée Zellweger can be seen clutching an iPad, a more modern take on the paper diary which was seen in the first two films.

The follow up film to Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason will see Renée Zellweger reprise the title role and Colin Firth return as love interest Mark Darcy. Hugh Grant won't be back as Daniel Cleaver but there could be a new love interest for Bridget.

Patrick Dempsey has reportedly confirmed that he will appear in the third installment of the Bridget Jones Diary franchise by sharing a photo captioned, "Nice to be working in England. Renee and Colin are an absolute joy to work with!"
