They got hitched in a secret ceremony in France on Saturday
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally tied the knot after nine years together! Congratulations!
The Hollywood megastars exchanged their vows at a secret ceremony on Saturday (23rd August) attended by family and friends, a spokesperson for the couple has confirmed.
The nondenominational, civil ceremony took place at the couple’s sprawling 1,000 acre Château Miraval estate in the south of France two years after their engagement in 2012.
According to the Associated Press, Jolie walked along the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, while her daughters Zahara, nine, and Vivienne, six, threw petals. Six-year-old Knox and eight-year-old Shiloh were ring bearers.
However, there was no honeymoon as Brad and Angelina jetted off to Malta to continue work on their movie By the Sea.
The “experimental romance” is written and directed by Jolie and she will co-star alongside Brad in the lead roles.
Angelina has been married twice before – to Jonny Lee Miller from 1996-1999 and Billy Bob Thornton from 2000-2003 – while Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston for the first five years of the Millennium.
