Ariana Grande hits back at sexist questions

Because boys use the unicorn emoji too

Published 3rd Nov 2015

Ariana Grande has snapped back at interviewers after asking questions she felt were sexist.

Appearing on a radio station in America, she was asked to pick between make-up and her mobile phone.

The ‘Problem’ star wasn’t having any of it and asked if that’s all they thought girls were worried about.

It became more heated when discussing the new emoji’s that are available. When Ariana said she liked the unicorn, one of the hosts implied it's a girl thing and she retorted that boys use the unicorn icon too!

She went on to say that she’d like to change many things about the world – including misogyny and judgement… starting with the hosts.

‘I’m very upset over this emoji unicorn thing’ she joked.
