Pets are a huge part of our lives, and as of 2022, it's estimated that around 59% of UK households have a dog! With that in mind, just likes babies, naming your puppy or rescue dog is a very important matter, they are part of your family after all!

Now, nearly four months into 2022, the most popular puppy names of 2022 so far have been revealed, following research by The Kennel Club Pet Insurance.

The most interesting finding from the research shows the name Boris has fallen out of the top 10 list, after a surge following the 2019 election.

The likes of Peach, Libby, Roxi, Alan, Nacho and Spike have also fallen from the list this year.

Names like Teddy, Milo and Buddy top the list for male dogs, whilst Bella, Willow and Daisy prove popular choices for female dogs.
