Two men have been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death in Bristol.

Emergency services were called to Filton Avenue in Horfield, at around 3:45am on Wednesday morning, where they found the 39-year-old with serious injuries.

It's thought Tomasz Stankiewicz was able to drive a short distance away before succumbing to his injuries. He was pronounced dead a short time later in hospital.

In an update, police have confirmed that two people have been charged in connection with his death.

23-year-old Gegin Assad, of Horfield, and Ferahg Fukeri, 28, of Lockleaze will appear before magistrates this morning.

A third man arrested has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
