Soccer Aid 2024: England win for first time since 2018

King of the Jungle Sam Thompson, Gladiator Diamond, and Strictly Come Dancing's Bobby Brazier were just a few famous names to take part in Soccer Aid 2024, an annual charity football match created to raise money for UNICEF.

Soccer Aid, which was originally set up by Robbie Williams back in 2006, took place at Stamford Bridge in London on Sunday 9th June, so here's everything you need to know about the 2024 match now the final whistle has gone!

Who won Soccer Aid in 2024?

For the first time since 2018, England won the match against the Rest of The World, with the final score 6-3.

Who scored?

Former England player Ellen White made history during the match by becoming the first female player to score in Soccer Aid. Other former professionals Joe Cole, Jermaine Defore and Theo Walcott also scored for England, whilst Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett scored a brace.

After coming on a second-half substitute, entrepreneur and Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett was awarded with the player of the match award, scoring two goals and making a difference for his team.

How was money did Soccer Aid raise?

During the game a massive £15,049,590 was raised for UNICEF.

Who were the managers on Soccer Aid 2024?

Chelsea and England legend Frank Lampard managed England this year, alongside his uncle Harry Redknapp. Former England goalkeeper David Seaman acted as England's goalkeeper coach, with Soccer Aid founder Robbie Williams also on the coaching staff.

Line of Duty actress Vicky McLure was also back in the dugout for England.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea manager Maurizio Pochettino was the manager for Rest of the World, alongside his assistant Jesus Perez.

Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker performed his track 'The Best Is Yet To Come' at half-time.

Anne couldn't hide her excitement mid-interview when Leandro Trossard scored a late winner for the Gunners. After the footage went rival, Trossard sent a video message to Anne, leaving her 'shaking'.

AJ Tracey - Tottenham

'West Ten' rapper AJ Tracey is a massive Spurs fan! Not only did he perform at the club's 2019 Nike kit launch, he's also been spotted in the crown and in the dressing rooms, getting photos with plays such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min.

Drake - Chelsea

Drake is a massive Chelsea fan and even had a kick about with the team before a Champions League match back in 2012.


The rapper was later photographed in the dressing room with Chelsea legends such as John Terry, Ashley Cole and Didier Drogba.

Not only is Aitch good mates with former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard, the rapper also launched the club's 2019 home kit!

Perrie Edwards - Liverpool
