Reform UK party conference starts in Birmingham

Reform UK's party conference starts today, with MPs, members and supporters gathering at the NEC in Birmingham.

Billed as a big "party" to celebrate their shock success at the general election, the conference is expected to set out Reform UK's direction, including how the party is run.

More than 4 million people voted for Reform UK in July's election, with the party securing five seats in parliament.

Today (20 September) at the NEC, all five MPs are expected to make speeches including leader Nigel Farage.

Reform UK party chairman Zia Yusuf, former MP Ann Widdecombe and celebrity adventurer Ant Middleton are also expected to address members and supporters.

Tomorrow (21 September), Reform UK are expected to unveil more details on the formal party structures, and how it will be run going forward.
