Police investigating serious sexual assault at Cardiff's Splott Park
An investigation begun in the early hours of this morning

Police are investigating a serious sexual assault against a woman in Cardiff's Splott Park.
A 44 year old reported being attacked early this morning (Sunday 22nd September).
Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the area between 2am and 4am.
Detective Inspector Kath Barry said:
“The victim is being supported by specialist police officers and enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the full circumstances of the incident.
“A scene is in place and a number of officers will be seen in area as our investigations continue.
“If you were in the vicinity of Splott Park between the hours of 2.00am and 4.00am this morning and saw anyone in the area, or if you have any other information that could assist our investigation, please contact us quoting reference number 2400316906.”
