Pet sitting is the most sought after job according to research.

The findings were based on the number of times a job advert was looked at.

More than 5,200 different job titles were analysed with pet sitting being the most sought after.

The 10 most sought after jobs were pet sitter, cabin crew, aircraft cleaner, shelf filler, chauffeur, passenger services agent, crop production worker, animal handler, NHS call handler and market researcher.

Adzuna carried out the research by analysing job titles and said these findings reflected the changing views of jobseekers since the pandemic.

A total of 24 of the 30 most sought after jobs offered a lower pay than the current average advertised UK salary of £36,339.

Paul Lewis, of Adzuna, said: "Lockdown catalysed an increase in pet adoptions, the most sought after jobs in the UK are roles where workers are doing what they love or giving back to the community”.
