Man charged with attempted murder in Liverpool suburb
Emergency services were called to a crash in the Croxteth area on Wednesday
A man's been charged with attempted murder following a crash in a Liverpool suburb.
The victim - a man in his thirties - was found unconscious on Coronet Road in Croxteth on Wednesday evening.
He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Shaun Duckworth, of Breeze Hill, Walton, was charged with attempted murder and possession of cannabis.
The 34 year old was remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court tomorrow.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said:
"At around 10.30pm on Wednesday 8 February, emergency services attended Coronet Road after reports of a car being in suspected deliberate collision with a man, who was found unconscious in the street.
