M6 reopens after fatal crash involving pedestrian
Police and National Highways Officers have been on the scene all night

The M6 near Carlisle is reopening after being closed for police investigations into a fatal crash involving a pedestrian at junction 42.
Emergency services were originally called just after 8pm on Saturday 14th September to reports of a serious crash.
The road was closed in both directions overnight to allow for a forensic search and examination of the scene.
The southbound portion reopened earlier on Sunday morning but police have now confirmed the road is being fully reopened.
Police are urging anyone who was travelling along the M6 or had been travelling near to junction 42 of the A6 around the time of the incident who may have witnesses something or may have dashcam footage to get in touch with them.
