Victim in Leeds murder investigation named as enquiries continue

West Yorkshire Police have released four men following lines of enquiry

The victim of a murder investigation in Leeds has been named by West Yorkshire Police as enquiries continue.

Saymore T Kwashira was 23 when he was fatally stabbed at a property on Winrose Avenue, in the Belle Isle area of the city on Tuesday (November 12th).

Investigations into the man's death are ongoing, with four men being arrested on suspicion of Saymore's murder.

Following lines of enquiry, two males - aged 17 and 24 - have been released on conditional bail, pending further investigations.

The other two males, aged 16 and 18, have since been fully released from the investigation and will have no charges brought against them.

Meanwhile, West Yorkshire Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have any information that could help in their enquiries to come forward.

Those who may be able to offer any leads in the investigation are being asked to contact 101 and quote Operation Pollentine, in reference to Saymore's death.
