Ray McKinnon welcomed Dundee United's return to the goal trail as he looked forward to the Premiership play-off against Falkirk next Tuesday night.
The Terrors booked their place in the semi-final with a convincing 3-0 win over Morton at Tannadice to go through on a 5-1 aggregate.
Following their 2-1 win at Cappielow on Tuesday, Simon Murray broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute with a close-range drive, recently-signed midfielder Wato Kuate drove in a wonderful second from distance - his first goal for United - before Blair Spittal added a third with a confident finish.
United will host the Bairns in the first game before travelling to their Championship rivals on Friday and, despite the quick turnaround, McKinnon is confident.
He said: ''I am very pleased to come through the tie. It was a good performance.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday and we are back on Tuesday so another really tough game.
They (Falkirk) have done well this season, and done well for the last three seasons in this league.
We are at home, we are in form and we are starting to score goals again and we are looking forward to it.
I think we should have won the last six or seven games but everything was coming off the post and bar.
Tonight, Tuesday and in the last couple of games they have started to go in, so it is good timing that they are hitting the back of the net.''
Morton boss Jim Duffy claimed the scoreline was ''harsh'' on his side.
He said: ''It was similar to Tuesday a little bit. The first half we were outstanding and when United got the first goal took control of the game and won it comprehensively. But I think the scoreline is definitely harsh on us.
The amount of effort we put into the two games, I am not saying we deserved to win because we didn't, Dundee United were clinical and you need that firepower to see you through.
But I think it was a harsh scoreline for our boys considering the amount of work we put in. We congratulate Dundee United.''
