Tomas Cerny has signed for Partick Thistle on a one-year deal, the Maryhill club have confirmed.

The 30-year-old Czech, who left Hibernian at the end of the season, has been recruited days after the departure of Scott Fox to Ross County and will now battle for the number one jersey with player-coach Paul Gallacher and 22-year-old Ryan Scully.

The former Czech Republic under-21 cap made his name at Hamilton between 2007 and 2012, before moving to CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria.

Meanwhile, Jack Hendry, who made his first-team debut in the goalless draw with Motherwell on the final day of the season, and David Wilson, who made his first start in the same fixture, have both signed new one-year contracts.
