Two-match touchline ban for Morton boss Jim Duffy
Morton boss Jim Duffy has been handed an immediate two-match touchline ban following his bust-up with Hibernian counterpart Neil Lennon.
Duffy received a three-match punishment in total with one of the games suspended until the end of 2017 as a result of his row with Lennon during a goalless draw at Easter Road on March 29.
Duffy admitted a charge of misconduct for entering the Hibs technical area and adopting an "aggressive attitude" towards Lennon. The 57-year-old will be confined to the stand for Ladbrokes Championship games against Ayr and Dunfermline.
A similar accusation towards his assistant, Craig McPherson, was withdrawn at a Scottish Football Association disciplinary hearing.
Morton were also fined £500 - with a further £250 fine suspended - after admitting a misconduct charge over the mass confrontation.
Lennon and Hibs, who face Aberdeen in the William Hill Scottish Cup semi-finals on Saturday, were originally scheduled to have their hearing on the same day to face similar charges, but it was postponed until next Tuesday after the Leith club said their solicitor was unavailable.
