Ange Postecoglou's move from Celtic to Tottenham looks to have take a huge step forward.
The Australian was linked with a move to the Premier League side last week with speculation ramping up after the Parkhead side's season ended on Saturday.
Sky Sports News are now reporting Celtic have granted Tottenham permission to speak to the 57-year old about their managerial vacancy.
Brendan Rodgers is also being linked with a sensational return to Glasgow.
The Northern Irishman left under a cloud when he walked out on the club to take over at Leicester City.
It is believed he is one of the early names in the frame along with former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch.
