Motherwell have signed forward Theo Bair from St Johnstone on a two-year deal.

The 23-year old moved to the Perth side in January 2022 and went on to score once in 38 appearances.

He has also been capped twice by Canada, scoring in a friendly against Barbados.

Bair becomes the Fir Park side's fourth new addition of the summer, with Jon Obika also agreeing to extend his stay.

Manager Stuart Kettlewell told the club's official website: “Theo is someone who I feel will add to our project here.

“He has experience of playing in the league but more importantly, he is only 23-years-old. I feel he has plenty room for development and that is something we should be excited about.

“I’ve been vocal about wanting to improve our options up top and Theo fits the bill for that.”

Bair added: “It’s great say I’m a Motherwell player.

“I’m looking forward to meeting up with my new teammates ahead of our season opener on Saturday.

“The manager wants me to do a job, so I will get to work straight away and try to hold up my end of the deal.”
