The Scottish Women's Premier League fixtures for next season have been released ahead of the new campaign, which starts on Sunday 17 August.

Champions Hibernians will start the defence of their title at home to Aberdeen, whilst last campaign's runners-up Glasgow City are at home to Motherwell.

Now managerless Rangers travel to Montrose and Celtic, who finished fourth last time out, play away to Hearts.

SWPL 2 winners Hamilton Academical host Partick Thistle.

The top flight reverts to 10 teams this season, changing from a 12-team format.

Managing director Fiona McIntyre told BBC Scotland she hopes the smaller structure will make a difference in realising her "dream scenario" of a complete full-time top tier.

McIntyre said it would be an "incredible achievement" if the entire league was fully professional in a decade's time - before a mooted home nations 2035 Women's World Cup.
