Celtic duo Stephen Welsh and Adam Montgomery have been included in Scot Gemmill's latest Scotland under-21 squad.

Montgomery has been included for the first time for the European qualifier in Turkey on September 7.

The 19-year-old made his seventh first-team appearance when he came off the bench during Celtic's Europa League win over AZ Alkmaar on Wednesday.

He joins Celtic team-mate Stephen Welsh who has impressed in the early stages of the season under Ange Postecoglou.

Hibernian's Josh Doig is included, while there is no place for Billy Gilmour and Nathan Patterson as they look set to remain with Steve Clarke's senior squad.
