Scott Brown says goodbye to Celtic fans in emotional post
Scott Brown's said an emotional goodbye to Celtic fans.
The legendary Hoops captain's has called time on his Celtic Park career after a trophy-laden 14 years.
He'll be back at Celtic Park next season as player-assistant of Aberdeen but has thanked the club and supporters for an incredible journey.
Writing on Instagram, he said: "It has come to an end of an era during which I have had so many fantastic times and met so many amazing people over my journey in the last 14 seasons.
"I’d like to say thanks to the board who put trust in me all that time ago and continued to believe in me until the very end of my time at Celtic.
"I have to thank my teammates I have had the pleasure playing with over the years who have been my rock. The managers who have given me confidence and made me push boundaries and keep my standards high.
"To everyone associated with the club who have made me feel like part of their family.
"A huge thanks to all of the supporters who have travelled the world supporting us over the years and I am sorry I didn’t have time to say goodbye in person.
"One last thank you to my family who have supported my dream over the years and had to put up with me throughout.
"Hopefully one day we meet again"
