Scotland will face Poland in a friendly at Hampden Park next week.

Steve Clarke's side have arranged the fixture following the postponement of their World Cup semi-final play-off match against Ukraine.

Ukraine were due to visit Glasgow on March 24, but the match has now been moved due to Russia's invasion of the country.

Poland have stepped in as replacements as they were originally due to face Russia a week on Thursday.

Russia have since been banned from UEFA and FIFA competition.

Donation to Ukraine appeal

The Scottish FA said: "For every ticket sold, £10 will be donated to UNICEF UK’s emergency appeal for Ukraine, and supporters will have the opportunity to make an additional donation if they wish during the ticket purchase process, with a special donate button on the web page directing to UNICEF UK’s appeal.

"A sold-out Hampden would mobilise a significant six-figure contribution for UNICEF UK’s appeal for Ukraine.

"Organisers will announce additional ways in which supporters can get behind the fundraising in the build-up to the match.

"Tickets will go on sale at 1pm on Tuesday, 15 March – exclusively to Scotland Supporters Club members – before going on general sale at 1pm on Thursday, 17 March."

Scotland are also due to play either Wales or Austria in an away friendly on March 29.

A statement from the Polish FA said: "The White and Reds were originally scheduled to play in Moscow on March 24 against Russia in the World Cup qualifiers, but the International Football Federation (FIFA) - as a result of Russia's disqualification after the country's aggression against Ukraine - awarded Poland a bye.

"The team of the coach of Czesław Michniewicz was immediately promoted to the final of the play-off path, in which on March 29, 2022 they will face the winner of the Sweden-Czech Republic match at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.
