Ryan Jack provides return date as he reveals successful operation
The Rangers midfielder has targeted a return to action after missing the end of the season and Euro 2020 through injury
Ryan Jack says he's hoping to be back ready for the start of next season after revealing his surgery was successful.
The Rangers midfielder has been out of action since February and was ruled out for the rest of the campaign and Euro 2020 by Steven Gerrard.
The 29-year old needed surgery on a long-standing issue, with Ibrox boss Gerrard hopeful the procedure will give him a clean return to action next campaign.
On his Instagram profile, he said: "Morning Teddy’s - just letting everyone know I had a successful operation yesterday morning and I’m now on the road to recovery.
"Can’t wait to be back for the start of next season and getting back doing what I love.
"Thanks to everyone for the messages it’s much appreciated. All focus now is on 56! let’s go".
Jack hasn't featured for the Light Blues since 21 February.
