Ross County pair Ross Callachan and Jack Baldwin have both been charged by the Scottish FA following tackles against Kilmarnock at the weekend.

Callachan was booked for a challenge on Ryan Alebiosu but was lucky not to be shown a straight red card.

The midfielder was eventually given his marching orders later in the game for a second bookable offence.

Derek McInnes was left angry about the initial challenge after the match, telling KillieTV: "The tackle on big Ryan was awful, I think the officials have to see it as I did right in front of me.

"We've all been there when you want your team to make a cute foul, but I felt that he had two feet off the ground and it was a lunge.

"For me if that isn't a red card then god help us."

Defender Jack Baldwin will also face a disciplinary hearing on Thursday.

Baldwin was booked for a second-half challenge in Dingwall but that has been reviewed by the Compliance Officer.

A Ross County statement read: "Following Saturday's match with Kilmarnock, the SFA Compliance Officer has today informed us that Ross Callachan has been served with a two-match ban for his red card.

"Jack Baldwin has also been served with a retrospective red card and two-match ban.

"There will be a hearing for both players on 25th August."
